I met Renee several years ago at Christ the King Church in Mankato, where she coordinated our Community Supper on Wednesday nights serving the greater area residents in need as well as church members, and whipped up breakfasts for Sunday gatherings. Whenever food was needed, Renee was there to help.Her passion goes beyond the kitchen: she empowers communities in Kenya, securing sponsorships for education and sustainable projects like clean drinking water and food gardens.Renee’s heart for helping others flourish is unstoppable. What began as a simple beachside conversation in Cozumel turned into something far greater—through our connection, Renee was introduced to The Centre of Love Foundation, opening the door for her to make a real impact in the lives of women and children in the Kibera slums. With her unique ability to provide nourishing, nutritional food as well as authentic connection, Renee made a meaningful connection, now friends a continent away.
